Cargo Insurance (CI) – covers financial losses sustained if packages are lost or damaged during transit. CI automatically grants all shipments loss and damage coverage if placed through iPROMOTEu, regardless of method, carrier, or shipper account used.
If shipped utilizing the iPROMOTEu Shipping Program, the claimer is eligible to receive back his/her full sell profit on the affected order. If not shipped through the iPROMOTEu Shipping Program, the claimer is eligible to receive back the total product cost of the order. This level of insurance, with all its benefits, is not available to the public at any price.
TIME IN TRANSIT INSURANCE
Time-In-Transit Insurance (TTI) – covers financial losses sustained for a package that did not arrive on the scheduled delivery date. TTI covers all reasons for a delayed shipment except the weather. This insurance will take effect on March 1st, 2017, and it is not available to the public.
To take advantage of this insurance, the order will need to ship through the iPROMOTEu Shipping Program. This is optional insurance to ensure that the goods are covered in the case of a missed event. Some orders depending on the value will be required to have this insurance.
This is a separate policy from the *Cargo Insurance (CI). Orders will still be charged for both insurances if selecting this type of policy. When selecting expedited shipping such as Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, it would be recommended to choose TTI.
